This album speaks to me like nothing else today. It captures the modern experience of keeping anxiety and tension, anger and frustration under constant but uncertain control -- and those moments of triumph when we burn clear despite this condition and seem to express something that we recognize, at least while it lasts, as coherent and meaningful. watthecheese
Floor-to-ceiling Boris ragers! It’s like they looked back on songs like Statement and Woman On the Screen and said “let’s do a whole album like that!” Most of these tracks don’t even pass 3 minutes! Zerkalo holds up the middle with some anguished doom.

I initially found this to be rather meandering after the brutal immediacy of What One Becomes, but within the improvisational void lies an amorphous beauty. Sugammadex
